Solution to Problem 1

mate in 2 problem White can mate in 2 moves!

1 f0-f11+ (Flying Bomber x Rook check)
..... b6-f10 (Q-f10) useless interposition is only move left for black since the capture has exposed the White rook now checking from c10.
Black cannot capture Flying Bomber with King since f11 is protected by the ninja guard at d9.
Also Black cannot move king to f9 since flying bomber is covering the f file.
2. c10-f10 ( rxq# )

Solution to Problem 2

mate in 1 problem White can mate in 1 move!

1 j4-j10# (Flying Bomber x pawn mate)
It is a common mistake by beginners not to see the Flying Bomber fly over capture threat.
Note that if black simply had the pawn j8 instead of j9, this would not be possible.
